MoCo RBI is a certified affiliate of the Major League Baseball (MLB) RBI program for Montgomery County, Maryland.

MoCo RBI supports the MLB Softball Development apparatus by identifying elite-level girls softball players and providing them with once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for exposure to college recruiters, pro scouts, and USA Softball.

The MoCo RBI program is now registering girls softball players age 13-18 that dream of someday playing the sport collegiately and possibly professionally in leagues such as National Pro Fastpitch (NPF).

Interested players must have a parent/guardian submit their official registration through this MLB sponsored platform (please utilize the link above). Registration is currently free for Montgomery County residents and student-athletes.

Each scholar-athlete is strongly encouraged to submit a softball recruiting skills video to enhance their MoCo RBI prospect profile. Softball recruiting skills videos should be sent to info@MoCoRBI.com 

Once registered, MoCo RBI will conduct an initial review of each scholar-athlete's candidacy for top showcases hosted by pro scouts.

During the 2020 showcase review cycle, MoCo RBI will choose up to ten (10) finalists that will be nominated for showcase consideration.

Prospects chosen for showcases will be notified in Spring 2020 and Summer 2020.

Girls softball prospects that register with the MoCo RBI program may receive an exclusive invitation to tryout for the MoCo RBI All-Star Girls Softball Team that is expected to represent Montgomery County at the RBI Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament in Durham, North Carolina during Summer 2020. This all-star team will compete against other MLB RBI programs nationwide for a chance to advance to the RBI World Series.
