OUR STORY
In Winter 2016, MoCo Nike RBI officially became the first-ever certified Major League Baseball (MLB) Nike RBI youth program affiliate within Montgomery County, Maryland. Founded by Four Seam Sports, Inc. (4-Seam), the MoCo Nike RBI program advances grassroots MLB youth development initiatives by encouraging academic achievement and the pursuit of continued education while also ensuring that our scholar-athletes are better prepared to play collegiately and professionally.

Since 2017, MoCo Nike RBI has proudly been a community baseball partner of the 2019 World Series Champion Washington Nationals and Nationals Youth Academy. Throughout this time, MoCo Nike RBI has established a stellar track record of identifying underrepresented talent all over North America, and especially in the DMV region.
Today, scouts from all 30 MLB Clubs utilize the MoCo Nike RBI Pipeline as a trusted grassroots resource for identifying underrepresented youth baseball and softball talent. Thus far, the MoCo Nike RBI program has produced five (5) players selected in the MLB Draft and 105 college commits, with 56 receiving NCAA Division-I athletic scholarships, including the 2020 Jennie Finch Empowerment Award winner (Cheyenne DeGross — George Mason University). Furthermore, throughout the existence of our program, countless MoCo Nike RBI registrants have been chosen for premier exposure events including the Area Code Games, Area Code Underclass Games, Atlanta Braves 44 Classic, East Coast Pro (ECP), MLB Breakthrough Series, MLB Dream Series, MLB Hank Aaron Invitational, MLB Softball Elite Development Invitational, MLB States Play, as well as the USA Baseball National Team Identification Series (NTIS), USA Baseball Prospect Development Pipeline (PDP) League, and USA Softball High Performance Program (HPP).
